We are partnering with a globally recognized industrial manufacturing organization to appoint an experienced Production Manager, who will play a key role in leading production operations while driving the transformation and relocation of the company's manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a Lean Manufacturing professional who is passionate about operational excellence, production optimization, and building a modern, high-performing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day production operations across fabrication, welding, and assembly, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved
- Drive the transformation from a traditional workshop environment to a Lean Flow Production system, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee production planning, workflow optimization, resource allocation, and cost control to maximize operational efficiency
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and waste elimination across the production process
- Manage the end-to-end relocation of the manufacturing facility, including factory setup, equipment transfer, commissioning, and production readiness
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure effective inventory planning, material availability, and localization of suppliers within Saudi Arabia
- Establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes throughout production and facility transition
- Lead, mentor, and develop production teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven leadership experience within complex manufacturing or industrial production environments
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and production optimization
- Demonstrated experience in production planning, cost control, and manufacturing process improvement
- Previous involvement in plant relocation, factory setup, or greenfield manufacturing projects is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
