Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations of our new transformer tank production facility in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of the management team, you will be fully responsible for production planning, resource deployment, on-site management, and delivery assurance. Your primary mission is to build an efficient, safe, and high-quality production system that meets the project's delivery commitments while strictly adhering to company policies and local regulations. This role is critical to the successful localization of our manufacturing capabilities in the Kingdom. The ideal candidate is a Saudi national with a strong background in the transformer or heavy electrical equipment industry, possessing hands-on experience in workshop management, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Execution
Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for the transformer tank workshop to ensure on-time delivery.
Optimize workshop layout and production line balancing to maximize throughput and minimize bottlenecks.
Monitor production progress in real-time, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact delivery deadlines.
2. Resource Management & Deployment
Efficiently allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and tools to meet fluctuating production demands.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and quality control departments to ensure seamless material flow and resource availability.
Manage workshop inventory levels and minimize waste.
3. On-Site Management & 8S Standards
Champion the implementation and continuous improvement of 8S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety, Spirit, Skill) management systems across all workshop areas.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment that complies with all company and local safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of workplace discipline and order.
4. Team Leadership & Shift Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators across multiple shifts.
Organize shift handovers, clarify daily production targets, and ensure each shift operates with clear accountability.
Foster a team culture that emphasizes discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while strictly adhering to factory working hours and shift patterns.
5. Process Optimization & Quality Improvement
Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to identify and resolve production issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
Support the implementation of standardized operating procedures and management systems to enhance operational consistency and product quality.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and elevate overall workshop performance.
6. Problem-Solving & Accountability
Proactively identify risks and obstacles in daily production and develop effective countermeasures.
Take full ownership of production targets, delivery KPIs, and workshop performance metrics.
Demonstrate strong resilience and adaptability to handle high-pressure situations and urgent production demands.

Nationality Saudi National (mandatory requirement)
Language Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on production management experience in transformer tank manufacturing or similar heavy steel fabrication / electrical equipment production environments.
Core Competencies • Proven expertise in workshop production scheduling and resource allocation.
• Deep knowledge and practical experience with 8S management and on-site workplace organization.
• Strong shift management and team leadership skills, with experience managing production teams across multiple shifts.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process optimization, implement management systems, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Resilient and adaptable to the demanding schedule of factory operations (including shift work and extended hours when required).
Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Manufacturing Management, or a related field is preferred. Advanced certifications in lean manufacturing or production management are a plus.
