Production Engineer Jobs in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE/Dubai at TALENTMATE
Reports to Site Manager.
We are seeking a qualified, innovative production engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will oversee and improve production processes in our factory. Engineering aptitude, high attention to detail, and the ability to optimize production processes for maximum efficiency with LEAN tools are necessary skills for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of production in our factory.
- Assess and analyze current production methods.
- Develop and draft an improved production process.
- Design and implement cost-reductive changes.
- Maximize productivity of machinery and workers.
- Follow product specifications and quality control measures.
- Implementation of OEE on all the machines and recording and analyzing the data.
- Work on 5S, VSM and implement in the factory.
- Continuous improvement projects.
- Maintenance of the machines. Planning preventative maintenance and regular maintenance of the machines. Planning and recording the data of all the machines.
- Train, supervise, and manage production line workers.
- Increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality.
- Develop and implement quality control measures that effectively monitor products and guarantee desired results.
- Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently.
- Educate employees on proper methods in which to operate machinery.
- Diagnose origin of breakdowns, including human error, and troubleshoot problems.
- Work within set budgetary plans for the project.
- Ensures that all the applicable company Directives, Rules, and Procedures about personal conduct and Product & Process Safety are adhered to, acts in compliance to all regulations, acts according to company policy and practices.
- Follow and adhere to all state, federal safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in LEAN manufacturing and Operational Excellence. A Black Belt certificate is of advantage.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access).
- 4-5 years proven experience in Powder Coating manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written in English.
- Ability to lead and direct employees effectively.
