Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Production Engineer at Madar. The Production Engineer will be responsible for production planning, quality control, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize manufacturing processes. The role is primarily located in Qesm El Obour but allows for some remote work.
Qualifications
Production Engineering and Production Planning skills
Quality Control and Analytical Skills
Strong communication skills
Experience in manufacturing or production environments
Ability to work independently and in a team
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Planning and supervision
– Develop daily and weekly production plans.
– Organise schedules to ensure orders are met.
Resource management
– Identify raw material and equipment needs.
– Liaise with the procurement department to ensure availability of resources.
3Quality Control
– Ensure that all products meet quality standards.
– Implement inspection and testing procedures during all stages of production.
Team Management
– Mentor teams and train new employees.
– Distribute tasks according to the competence of each team member.
Data analysis
– Follow up production reports and analyse performance.
– Identify weaknesses and look for possible improvements.
Maintaining safety
– Apply occupational health and safety standards in the work environment.
– Implement the necessary training to ensure employee safety.
Communication
– Liaise with other departments such as sales and marketing to ensure customer requirements are met.
– Suggest improvements to machine operators based on feedback.
Development and innovation
– Research new technologies to improve productivity and minimise costs.
– Follow developments in the market and update processes accordingly
