: Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Material Planner to manage material requirements, inventory levels, supplier deliveries, and ensure the timely availability of materials to support production operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule the supply of materials and components to meet production requirements and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.
- Monitor and manage supplier deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Take prompt action to address material shortages that may affect production.
- Manage material requirements using MRP and other relevant systems.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory data.
- Monitor inventory levels against agreed targets and support inventory checks.
- Minimize obsolete and excess stock.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis related to materials and inventory.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
