Product Manager Jobs in Doha, Doha, Qatar at badrgo

Title: Product Manager

Company: badrgo

Location: Doha, Doha, Qatar

Company Overview :

Badrgo is Qatar’s homegrown ride-hailing and mobility platform, built to move people smarter, safer, and more reliably across the region. Headquartered in Doha and operating across Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Mauritania, Badrgo is on a mission to become the most trusted mobility partner in the Middle East and Africa — connecting riders with drivers through a platform built on technology, transparency, and trust.

We are a fast-moving, ambitious team working at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer experience — building a product that improves lives every day. As we accelerate our regional expansion and deepen our presence in existing markets, we are growing our team with people who are passionate about mobility, driven by impact, and ready to build something that matters.

Role Overview :

The Product Manager sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer experience, and technology delivery at Badr Technology Holding. Reporting to the CPEO, this role is responsible for driving the full product lifecycle — from market research and competitive benchmarking through product design proposals, project charters, cross-functional integration, and commercial launch. The Product Manager ensures Badr Technology Holding’s platform and new product verticals are designed around real customer needs, benchmarked against the best in the market, and built to generate measurable commercial and technology revenue outcomes. This is a dual-focus role: the Product Manager owns the development and launch of new product verticals (logistics, corporate, limo, subscription, B2B) in collaboration with the CPEO, while also driving improvements to Badr Technology Holding’s core platform (rider app, driver app, backend features) in close collaboration with the CTO and Head of IT. Both tracks share the same discipline — structured discovery, rigorous benchmarking, data-informed design, and disciplined delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

A. Idea Intake & Opportunity Assessment

  • Own and manage Badr Technology Holding’s product idea intake process — establishing a structured, transparent channel through which product ideas can be submitted by any team (Operations, CX, Marketing, IT, Business Development, or the CPEO) and formally evaluated.
  • Develop and maintain an Idea Intake Form and assessment framework — capturing the problem statement, target user, market opportunity, estimated effort, commercial potential, and strategic alignment for every submitted idea.
  • Triage all incoming ideas on a rolling basis — scoring each against defined evaluation criteria (strategic fit, market demand, technical feasibility, commercial viability) and presenting a shortlist to the CPEO for prioritization decisions.
  • Maintain a live Idea Register — tracking all submitted, under-review, approved, deferred, and rejected ideas with clear rationale for every decision.
  • Ensure rejected or deferred ideas are communicated back to the submitting team with clear reasoning — maintaining a culture of open contribution and transparent decision-making.
  • Run quarterly idea generation sessions with cross-functional teams — proactively surfacing improvement opportunities from Operations, CX, Marketing, IT, and Business Development.

B. Market Research & Competitive Benchmarking

  • Conduct structured benchmarking of similar products and platforms across the ride-hailing, mobility, and super-app space — covering relevant regional players — identifying best practices, feature gaps, and positioning opportunities for Badr Technology Holding.
  • Research customer needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns across rider and driver segments — using surveys, interviews, support data, NPS feedback, and in-app analytics to build evidence-based product insights.
  • Monitor global and regional mobility product trends, emerging technologies, and competitive launches — maintaining a live competitive intelligence tracker shared with the CPEO and CTO.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities — features, verticals, or commercial models and Produce structured market and competitive analysis reports to inform product strategy decisions at the CPEO and CEO level.

C. Product Design & Proposal Development

  • Translate market research and customer insights into clear, actionable product design proposals — covering the problem statement, target user, proposed solution, success metrics, and commercial rationale.
  • Develop detailed product specifications and user stories for new features and verticals — working closely with the UI/UX Designer and IT team to ensure designs are technically feasible and user-centered.
  • Propose improvements to the rider and driver app experience — covering onboarding flows, booking UX, in-trip features, payment options, loyalty mechanics, and post-ride experience — grounded in data and benchmarking.
  • Design the end-to-end customer journey for each new product vertical — mapping rider and driver touchpoints, identifying friction points, and proposing solutions that differentiate Badr Technology Holding in the market.
  • Present product proposals to the CPEO with a clear business case — covering the opportunity size, development effort, commercial model, and expected impact on revenue or retention in coordination with Finance Director.

D. Project Charter & Competitor Analysis

  • Develop a formal project charter for every new product initiative — defining the scope, objectives, success criteria, stakeholders, timeline, resource requirements, risks, and approval chain before any development begins.
  • Produce structured competitor analysis as a mandatory input to every project charter — benchmarking the proposed product against at least three comparable solutions in the market, covering features, pricing, UX, technology approach, and commercial model.
  • Present project charters to the CPEO for approval before progressing to development — ensuring all product investments are commercially justified and strategically aligned.
  • Maintain a live product initiative register — tracking all active, pipeline, and completed product projects with their status, owner, timeline, and commercial outcome.

E. Product Lifecycle Management — POC to Launch

  • Own and manage the full product development lifecycle from POC through MVP to Full Launch — ensuring every stage has defined success criteria, stakeholder sign-off, and a clear decision gate before progressing.
  • Coordinate all product development activities across IT, Design, Operations, CX, and Marketing — acting as the central point of accountability for delivery timelines, scope, and quality.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritisation process — working with the CPEO to rank features and initiatives by commercial value, strategic impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Plan and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for every product release — coordinating test scenarios, identifying and resolving issues, and confirming go-live readiness with the CTO and CPEO.
  • Manage the end-to-end integration process for new features — from technical integration with backend systems through to front-end delivery, third-party API connections, and operational process updates.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end product launch with the Launch Specialist — ensuring all pre-launch activities (driver briefings, support scripts, in-app communications, marketing materials, and operational process updates) are completed and signed off before go-live. Document all product releases — maintaining clear release notes, feature specifications, and operational guides for internal teams.

F. Commercial Strategy & Revenue Generation

  • Initiate and develop commercial proposals for new product verticals — defining the pricing model, revenue streams, margin structure, and break-even timeline for each new product before launch — reviewed and validated with the Finance Director before submission to the CPEO.
  • Identify and propose technology-driven revenue opportunities — including in-app advertising, data monetisation, API partnerships, B2B platform licensing, and subscription-based commercial models.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to identify commercial partners and integration opportunities that enhance the product offering and generate incremental revenue for Badr Technology Holding.
  • Define and track the commercial KPIs for every product launch — including revenue contribution, adoption rate, transaction volume, and unit economics — reported to the CPEO monthly.
  • Conduct post-launch commercial reviews jointly with the Finance Director — comparing actual vs. projected revenue, validating financial assumptions, assessing operational cost, and presenting a structured findings report with optimisation recommendations to the CPEO.

G. Market Positioning & Go-to-Market Planning

  • Develop and own the go-to-market plan for every new product launch in collaboration with the Head of Marketing — covering target audience, positioning strategy, channel mix, pricing, launch timeline, and success metrics; ensuring the plan is approved by both the Head of Marketing and the CPEO before execution begins.
  • Define Badr Technology Holding’s product positioning in each market — ensuring Badr Technology Holding is differentiated from competitors on the dimensions that matter most to riders and drivers in Qatar, KSA, Egypt, and Mauritania.
  • Develop the go-to-market plan in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing — aligning on product messaging, launch campaigns, channel strategy, in-app communications, and promotional activities to drive adoption of new features and verticals.
  • Propose market-specific product adaptations — ensuring features, pricing, and UX are localised to the specific cultural, regulatory, and competitive context of each operating market.
  • Monitor post-launch user adoption, feature engagement, and market feedback — feeding insights back into the product roadmap and positioning strategy continuously.
