Primary Responsibilities

Lead the category strategy for GLP aligned with LIXIL and IMEA business goals

  • Analyze market trends in the GLP countries, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, including new product introductions, discontinuations, and innovations.
  • Develop a 3 years & 5-year plan and define the Product Road Map.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key distributors to ensure quality & cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns and strategies.
  • Ensure category performance meets revenue and profitability targets through tailored sales plans.
  • Conduct regular market analysis, including customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and drive category growth.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels without overstocking or stockouts.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless distribution and product availability.
  • Plan planogram with Retail & Showroom team for different category of partners (A, B & amp;C).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments for launch of new products.
  • Ensure all category operations comply with local regulations and company policies.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives within the product category, aligning with company goals.

Qualifications

  • 5-8years of experience in a product-based industry, preferably in building materials.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs
  • Strong commercial knowledge and business acumen
