Position Summary
The Product Manager / Product Owner will be responsible for defining product strategy, gathering and prioritizing requirements, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring successful product delivery. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, clients, and development teams, ensuring that products deliver maximum business value while meeting customer needs and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, goals, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback assessments to identify product opportunities.
- Develop business cases and product plans to support strategic initiatives.
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives and customer value.
- Create, refine, and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Prioritize product features, enhancements, and releases based on business impact and stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of product milestones and releases.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Collaborate closely with clients, executives, business users, and technical teams to gather and validate requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and product demonstrations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and communications.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with development, UI/UX, QA, and project management teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Product Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance using KPIs, analytics, and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and innovation.
- Ensure product quality, usability, and alignment with customer expectations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, process flows, business requirements, specifications, and release notes.
- Provide regular status updates, product reports, and performance insights to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a related role within a software development environment.
- Proven experience managing software products from concept, design, and development through deployment and support.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern software development methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience using project and product management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Click Up, or similar platforms.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles, customer journey mapping, and product discovery techniques.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, databases, cloud platforms, and software architecture concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
- Experience working with SaaS platforms, ERP systems, CRM solutions, AI-powered applications, Digital Transformation projects, or Enterprise Software.
