Product Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Products Manager to lead our Diving and Marine Accessories division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing a diverse product portfolio, and leading go-to-market strategies. This role combines sales leadership, product management, and strategic planning, ideal for someone with experience in diving equipment, marine gear, and watersports accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Management
Develop and implement sales strategies across B2B, retail, wholesale, and online channels.
Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base (dive centers, resorts, distributors).
Manage key accounts and build strong client relationships.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain competitive positioning.
Lead sales performance analysis, prepare forecasts and reports.
Supervise and develop sales teams where applicable.
Product Planning & Category Management
Oversee full product lifecycle: selection, pricing, sourcing, launch, phase-out.
Conduct market research to align assortment with customer needs and industry trends.
Source products locally and internationally; negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
Ensure competitive pricing and product positioning.
Monitor inventory turnover and optimize stock levels with logistics and procurement teams.
Ensure compliance with product safety and quality standards.
Marketing & Promotion
Coordinate with marketing team to create product campaigns and promotional activities.
Represent the company in trade shows, dive expos, and industry events.
Provide training to sales staff and key partners on product knowledge.
Set and manage category budgets, monitor profitability (P&L ownership).
Develop corrective actions to maintain financial performance.
Participate in strategic business planning and execution.
People Management
Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team.
Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support staff development.
Promote a performance-driven culture aligned with company values.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in sales & product/category management.
Prior experience in diving, marine, or outdoor sporting goods industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of diving gear (BCD, regulators, wetsuits, etc.) and marine accessories.
Proven ability to manage suppliers and international sourcing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
