Job Summary:
Blue Beach Tower by AZCO Real Estate is seeking a skilled Procurement Supervisor with a strong background in the hospitality industry to oversee purchasing activities and ensure efficient procurement operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Opera PMS and SunSystems, ensuring seamless procurement processes, cost control, and compliance with company policies. This role is critical in supporting the hotel’s operations by sourcing high-quality materials and services at the best value.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
Utilize Opera PMS and SunSystems to track procurement transactions, supplier payments, and inventory management.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality and pricing for hospitality operations.
Ensure compliance with hospitality industry standards, financial policies, and procurement regulations.
Maintain and update approved supplier lists, ensuring contracts and agreements are up to date.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, coordinating closely with relevant departments.
Prepare and analyze procurement reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
Work closely with finance, operations, and kitchen teams to align procurement with hotel needs and budget constraints.
Oversee purchase orders (POs), invoices, and vendor payments, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Assist in conducting supplier audits and performance evaluations to maintain service quality.
Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and corporate sustainability goals.
Provide training and guidance to junior procurement staff as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in procurement within the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in Opera PMS and SunSystems is a must.
Strong knowledge of hospitality procurement standards, vendor management, and cost control.
Familiarity with local and international purchasing regulations.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple suppliers, contracts, and procurement activities simultaneously.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with procurement reporting tools.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in multi-property hotel procurement.
Certification in CIPS, CPSM, or any procurement-related accreditation is a plus.
Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices in the hospitality industry.
