Procurement Officer – Industrial Spare Parts – Saudi Nationals – Jeddah Location
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with strong expertise in industrial spare parts purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial environment. The candidate will manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and timely delivery of critical spare parts and MRO materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of industrial spare parts, MRO materials, tools, and maintenance consumables.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation components.
- Obtain quotations, compare offers, and negotiate price, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
- Verify part numbers, specifications, quantities, brands, and technical requirements before purchasing.
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network for industrial spare parts.
- Follow up with suppliers on pending orders, delays, shortages, and quality issues.
- Identify alternative suppliers and equivalent parts to reduce cost and prevent production downtime.
- Monitor critical spare parts and support minimum/maximum stock level requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, quotations, and purchase documentation.
- Support cost-saving initiatives through negotiation, local sourcing, and supplier development.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.
Required Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in manufacturing or industrial companies.
- Strong experience purchasing industrial spare parts and MRO materials.
- Good knowledge of bearings, motors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, belts, chains, electrical components, hydraulic and pneumatic parts.
- Experience dealing with local and international suppliers.
- ERP experience is preferred.
- Strong English communication and negotiation skills.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ﷼2,435.59 – ﷼10,836.31 per month
