Procurement Officer/ Eng – Landscaping Jobs in Dubai at Perfect Technical Works & Landscaping LLC
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer / Purchaser to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination for landscaping and construction projects across the UAE. The role involves ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant procurement of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting project delivery requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with approved and potential suppliers.
- Obtain, review, and compare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Prepare detailed vendor comparison statements for management review and approval.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with project and engineering teams to ensure technical compliance of materials and services.
- Maintain and update a structured vendor database and monitor supplier performance.
Procurement Operations
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities in line with company policies and project requirements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and prevent project delays.
- Monitor stock and inventory levels and initiate procurement as required.
- Ensure all materials meet approved specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with site and warehouse teams for material delivery, inspection, and acceptance.
- Resolve procurement-related issues such as delays, shortages, or damaged goods.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and pricing histories.
- Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and invoice processing status.
- Submit supplier documentation to Finance for payment processing.
- Prepare procurement reports including cost analysis, savings reports, and procurement summaries.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for all procurement activities.
Cost Control & Commercial Support
- Support budget monitoring and project cost control initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with approved budgets and financial controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost control practices.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of UAE supplier markets and procurement cycles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
