Role Summary:

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management for key materials and services. This role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and negotiation expertise to ensure cost efficiency and quality in procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable agreements.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Inventory & Cost Control:

Manage inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.

Analyze procurement reports and data to support decision-making and cost optimization.

Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.

Compliance & Market Research:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier developments.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or sourcing for entry-level roles.

5–10 years of experience for senior procurement roles with a focus on supplier negotiations and inventory optimization.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of procurement and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Proven ability to analyze data, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification is a plus.

Experience in procurement within construction, real estate, or retail industries.
