Procurement Officer Jobs in Abu Dhabi at FALCON MIDDLE EAST(Construction & Infrastructure)
Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services required for infrastructure projects. Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and storekeepers regarding material requirements and delivery schedules. Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely supply of materials and prevent project delays. Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and identify new vendors. Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries. Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing. Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotations, and purchase documentation. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements. Assist in cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation and supplier evaluation. 1 – 2 years of experience
