Procurement Officer Jobs in Dubai at Taslleeh Facilities Management
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Procurement Officer with strong experience in the roads and infrastructure / civil construction industry to join our procurement team in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from purchase requisition to delivery.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors and service providers.
- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process RFQs, LPOs/POs, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Procure materials required for roads and infrastructure projects, including civil, drainage, utilities, road works and related construction materials.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, QS/Commercial, Stores, Accounts and Site Teams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure materials and equipment are delivered to project sites within the required timelines.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmation, production, delivery and outstanding materials.
- Develop and maintain an updated supplier/vendor database.
- Identify reliable alternative suppliers and competitive sources to achieve cost savings.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery and service.
- Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications and approved technical requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical team for material approvals and technical submittals, where applicable.
- Review supplier quotations, delivery notes, invoices and related procurement documents.
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and provide regular procurement status updates.
- Support the procurement budget and cost-control process.
- Maintain proper procurement records and documentation for audit and management review.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the UAE, preferably with a roads, infrastructure or civil construction contractor.
- Strong knowledge of procurement for road works, drainage, utilities, earthworks and infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of the UAE supplier and subcontractor market.
- Experience dealing with construction material suppliers, equipment suppliers and subcontractors.
- Strong negotiation, communication and vendor-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.
- Ability to read and understand material specifications, BOQs and technical requirements.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
