Secret Gardens LLC is looking for a Procurement Officer for our high end design-oriented landscaping & pool company to work alongside our experienced team of architects, engineers & construction professionals. Duties and Responsibilities
Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
Cultivate and go along with the relationship with vendors/suppliers positively.
Manage records of purchases, prices, and other relevant information.
Review and analyze all vendors, suppliers, supply options, and prices
Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
Negotiate the best deals for pricing and supply contracts
Ensure that products and supplies meet high-quality standards
Maintain and update a list of suppliers, including their qualifications, delivery times, and potential for future development
Collaborate with team members and the procurement manager to complete tasks as needed
Maintaining, Requesting and management of Contractor & Supplier pre-qualification documentation
Collaborate closely with the quality control team to ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet the company’s stringent standards and specifications.
Promptly address any quality-related issues as they arise.
Some site visits may be necessary
Requirements and Qualifications
Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems
Up-to-date computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), among others.
Ability to analyze problems and devise strategic solutions
Skilled in negotiation, contract establishment, and administration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to collaborate effectively with management and staff at all levels
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Candidates will need to be highly organized and have document control experience
Driving License preferable
Experience
Procurement role you have in landscaping and pools: 4 years (Preferred)
procurement: 4 years (Required)
