Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the organization s goals while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet the company s specific needs
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best terms and minimize procurement costs without compromising quality
- Manage supplier relationships through regular communication and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a relevant industry
- Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) are highly desirable
- Experience in international procurement is a plus, with a preference for candidates familiar with global sourcing practices
