Job Description:
- Create purchase orders and ensure of time availability of resources for the projects
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability
- Maintain a database of approved suppliers and regularly assess their performance
- Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to secure long-term partnerships
- Monitor supplier adherence to contract terms and resolve any disputes or issues that arise
- Conduct market research to benchmark pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate inspections or testing of materials and address any quality concerns with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications
- Provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures to internal departments
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
