Job Objective:

To efficiently manage procurement operations to ensure the company’s needs for materials and services are met with high quality, reasonable prices, and within the required timeframe. The role also includes supporting the team responsible for bid submissions, coordinating with technical and financial departments, and contributing to project success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy Development and Implementation:

Develop procurement policies and procedures in line with the company’s strategy.

Identify qualified suppliers and build long-term relationships with them.

Procurement Operations Management:

Follow up and execute project-related purchase requests to ensure timely availability of materials.

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.

Issue purchase orders and monitor their execution.

Participation in Bids and Tenders:

Coordinate with the tenders and proposals department to submit competitive pricing for bids.

Analyze quantities and required specifications and communicate with suppliers to obtain accurate and prompt quotations.

Contribute to the preparation of financial and technical bid documents.

Supplier Management:

Regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Continuously search for new suppliers, improve the supplier database, and complete the full supplier onboarding process.

Reporting:

Submit regular reports on procurement performance, costs, and potential issues.

Provide analytical reports to top management to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Experience in handling bids and tenders.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.

Proficiency in English is preferred.
