Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Manager to
join our team
! In this role, you will manage and direct all procurement functions for small to medium-sized projects (domestic or international), ensuring efficient purchasing, expediting, supplier data control, supplier quality, and traffic coordination.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
Monitor procurement budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Cultivate and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
Provide procurement status updates and reports tosenior leadershipand stakeholders.
Mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain disruptions.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in procurement management for large-scale projects.
Expertise in supply chainoptimizationand vendor management.
Strong negotiation,communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track recordof managing procurement budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Experience in procurement for advanced manufacturing and technology building projects.
Knowledge of advanced procurement tools, software, and systems.
Ability to manage complex procurement strategies across multiple projects.
Strongleadershipskills with the ability to work cross-functionally in adynamic environment.
Understanding of global supply chain management and risk mitigation strategies.
