Procurement Engineer (Electrical)Industry – Location: Dubai, UAE Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for electrical and automation materials.
- Prepare and issue inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project requirements.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, pricing lists, and delivery records.
- Coordinate with project, design, and technical teams to verify material specifications.
- Handle basic accounting tasks related to procurement such as invoice verification, LPO reconciliation, and coordination with accounts for payments.
- Track material costs and support in project budgeting and cost reporting. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE standards. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2+ years of UAE experience in electrical procurement, preferably in home automation or MEP contracting.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting related to procurement and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, smart devices, and automation materials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems preferred.
