Procurement Engineer – Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems Jobs in Ajman at Power safety and security systems

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement process for Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems in accordance with project specifications and approved material submittals.

Review BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications to identify procurement requirements.

Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate technical and commercial offers.

Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status until delivery.

Coordinate with the Engineering, Projects, and QA/QC teams to ensure purchased materials comply with project requirements.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any procurement-related issues.

Process supplier invoices and coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure timely payment.

Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders, delivery notes, and approved quantities before submission for payment.

Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, invoices, and supporting documentation.

Source alternative suppliers and materials while ensuring compliance with client and authority requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to avoid material shortages.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, project budgets, and contractual requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.

Coordinate material deliveries according to project schedules to avoid delays.

Pay: AED1,003.60 – AED8,838.83 per month
