Procurement Engineer – Civil Jobs in Abu Dhabi at El Rey Global Travel
We are currently hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Procurement Engineer (Civil) to support procurement activities across onshore and offshore construction projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review civil material requests, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Source and procure construction materials including concrete, rebar, formwork, waterproofing, blockwork, finishing materials, aggregates, and structural components.
- Evaluate supplier quotations (technical and commercial compliance).
- Prepare cost comparisons and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and warranties.
- Issue purchase orders in line with project schedules and procurement plans.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and item master lists.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely material delivery for onshore and offshore sites.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and approved vendor lists.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of civil procurement experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
- Experience in both onshore and offshore projects is required/preferred (adjust as per client).
- Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and suppliers in the UAE market.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Must be willing to work anywhere in the UAE.
