Procurement Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Indo Arab
Responsibilities
- Source and procure engineering materials, equipment, and services
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and purchase requisitions
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial quotations, and recommend suppliers
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors
- Issue purchase orders and monitor order status until delivery
- Coordinate with engineering project QA QC and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and procurement records
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and client requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 2-3 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas or MEP industry.
- Good knowledge of engineering materials, vendor sourcing, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
- Candidates currently based in Qatar are preferred.
