Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer with solid experience in MEP systems and solar projects. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities for MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) and solar projects
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and perform technical & commercial evaluations
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to ensure material compliance
- Monitor procurement plans to meet project timelines
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications
- Track orders, manage logistics, and resolve supply chain issues
- Maintain procurement records and documentation
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in MEP and solar projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP materials and solar components
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
