Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (Preferred); MBA or equivalent in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement and Estimation Engineer to join our team at our Dubai Investment Park (DIP) office. The successful candidate will handle end-to-end procurement activities alongside accurate cost estimation and quotation preparation, working closely with sales, operations, and finance to ensure competitive pricing and timely material availability. This role suits a hands-on professional who can balance commercial sourcing with technical estimation and consistently deliver under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Costing Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations based on customer requirements, technical specifications, and supplier inputs. Analyze BOQs, RFQs, and enquiries to determine pricing, lead times, and margins. Maintain a structured costing database and ensure quotations are submitted promptly and competitively.
Procurement & Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers across categories. Source materials in line with project and operational requirements, and drive cost optimization through competitive sourcing, volume consolidation, and long-term supplier agreements.
Supplier Relationship & Negotiation Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions. Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations and address issues proactively.
Purchase Order & Process Handling Review customer Purchase Orders and ensure alignment with quotations and contractual commitments. Issue supplier POs, monitor order progress, and ensure timely delivery. Ensure proper documentation, including invoices, HS codes, and Certificates of Origin (COO), is maintained across all transactions.
Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with estimation, operations, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of materials and information. Resolve procurement and supply chain challenges promptly, escalating critical issues to senior management when required.
Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate procurement and costing data, generate reports, and track key metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and apply best practices.
Key Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement and estimation. Hands-on experience preparing cost estimates, quotations, and analyzing BOQs/RFQs. Strong MS Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP and procurement systems. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. Proven ability to handle multi-category procurement and estimation under tight deadlines. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering is preferred.
