Job Title:
Process Manager – Saudi Nationality
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To lead and optimize gasification and power production processes, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Process optimization and efficiency:
To oversee and optimize gasification and power production processes to ensure efficiency, reliability, and quality.
Team leadership:
To lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians to achieve operational goals.
Safety and regulatory compliance:
To ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving:
To monitor process data to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and resolve operational issues.
Project management and execution:
To plan and execute process improvement initiatives, including the implementation of new technologies and methodologies.
Inter-departmental collaboration:
To collaborate with other departments to align process operations with overall plant objectives.
Resource allocation and cost control:
To manage resources effectively, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, to achieve cost-efficient operations.
Data analysis and reporting:
To support strategic decision-making through data analysis, technical expertise, and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
A master’s degree in engineering or management is advantageous.
Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Project Management (e.g., PMP) are beneficial
Required Skills
Comprehensive understanding of gasification processes, power production, and related technologies
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA standards)
Expertise in process optimization methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, lean manufacturing)
Proficiency in data analysis tools and process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS)
Solid leadership and team management skills
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills for addressing complex operational challenges
Proficiency in project management, including planning, budgeting, and execution
Effective communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration
Strategic thinking for aligning process operations with organizational goals
