We are urgently hiring for a PERMANENT role to be based in QATAR.
Our Chemical client based in Qatar is looking to hire a “Process Engineer – MTBE”
Position:
-Process Engineer – MTBE
Manage the Process Engineering function and working in conjunction with members of the Plant departments, lead and manage the analysis of the various processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
10 years or above relevant experience preferably in MTBE, or Petrochemical plants like Propylene, PDH
– Dehydrogenation, Aromatics or Refinery associated petrochemical complex production environments.
Relevant experience with a large organization preferably in the petrochemicals industry or refinery.
Experience on unit operations, catalysis and Reaction Kinetics, CCR – Continuous catalyst regenerations, Cryogenic operations with refrigeration systems.
Gas purifications systems – Adsorbents and its regeneration and associated sequence operations.
MOC
– Management of Change cycle.
PSM elements and its relevance to process engineering.
APC applications in process plants.
Knowledge of Rotating Machinery like high power compressors and steam turbines and its associated systems PHA – HAZOP, What if, SIL etc skills and applications.
Formal training in Project Management is desirable and Systematic decision-making processes is required.
Required Skills:
Broad understanding of all company operations and maintenance processes.
Expert understanding of equipment performance testing techniques and theory.
Expert understanding of environmental testing protocols and techniques.
Detailed understanding of plant/equipment specifications.
Process troubleshooting.
