Role Description The Privileged Access Management Professional is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining controls around privileged accounts and access across the organization’s IT and security landscape. This full-time, on-site role is based in Doha, Qatar and involves managing PAM solutions, defining access policies, and monitoring privileged sessions to reduce security risks and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Day-to-day tasks include administering PAM tools, onboarding and lifecycle management of privileged accounts, configuring workflows and approvals, and performing regular reviews of access rights. The role also includes working closely with security, network, and infrastructure teams to integrate PAM with existing systems, responding to incidents involving privileged access, and preparing documentation, reports, and metrics related to access governance. The professional is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of PAM processes and to support audits and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Privileged Access Management skills, including experience with enterprise PAM tools (e.g., Miniorange,CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic/Delinea) and privileged session monitoring.
- Candidates should possess core information security and identity & access management skills, such as access control design, least-privilege principles, password vaulting, and role-based access control.
- Candidates should possess solid infrastructure and systems skills, including working knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and integration of PAM with on-premises and cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess analytical and governance skills, including risk assessment, compliance awareness, audit support, and the ability to create clear technical and procedural documentation.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and provide user training on PAM processes and tools.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor-specific PAM certifications) and experience in large-scale enterprise or critical infrastructure environments are highly beneficial.
