The successful candidate will maintain the residence to an exacting standard and take real pride in the work.
Key Responsibilities
– Maintain the residence to a consistently high standard: cleaning, dusting, polishing, and care of fine furnishings, with a rotating deep-clean schedule
– Laundry, ironing, and garment care, including beds and household linens
– Keep living spaces tidy, organized, and guest-ready at all times
– Monitor and restock household supplies, flagging items to reorder
– Prepare light meals such as sandwiches, salads, and simple dishes, and keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and orderly
– Provide attentive daily care for the household pets (dogs, cats, and parrots): feeding, water, cleanup, walking, basic grooming, and accompanying them to vet visits
– Set and serve the table when the household entertains, formal or casual, with full setup and reset
– Coordinate smoothly with the rest of the household staff
