Job Summary

Act as a communication specialty expert or approver, responsible for developing and reviewing execution strategies, implementation plans, interface management, baseline data, risk control, and specialized design solutions for the communication discipline. Ensure the quality of design deliverables, identify potential project risks, and formulate appropriate mitigation measures.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Communicate and coordinate with international clients regarding communication solutions, and resolve issues related to communication design plans.
2. Liaise with international clients, classification societies, and other third parties, as well as foreign national and local regulatory authorities, to address related issues and review comments.
3. Be responsible for reviewing technical bidding documents, providing technical clarifications, and evaluating bid submission documents.
4. Conduct regular technical training and guidance for the client’s design personnel, with no less than 5 sessions or 20 hours of training per year.
5. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the client.

Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification

1. Bachelor degree or above;
2. Over 15 years of experience in instrumentation and communication design for offshore fixed platforms or floating oil and gas production facilities, including at least 5 years in international projects. Preference will be given to candidates with project experience in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, or Brazil, as well as those who have worked for internationally renowned engineering companies such as Technip, Worley, Wood, Fluor, or McDermott.
3. Proficient in communication discipline knowledge, technical specifications, and industry regulations and policies.
4. Familiar with international project operating systems and client design philosophies. Strong ability to develop and manage technical solutions, identify and resolve issues promptly, and control and mitigate risks.

Behavioral/Technical Skills

1. Skilled in using common communication design software such as AutoCAD and Navisworks, as well as office software like Excel, Word, and PPT. Experience with 3D software input is preferred.
2. Diligent, meticulous, responsible, and hardworking. Willing to work overtime as needed based on project requirements.
3. Strong learning ability with the initiative to acquire new skills and knowledge.
4. Excellent coordination and organizational skills, capable of mobilizing relevant personnel to solve problems and communicate effectively.
5. Extensive field coordination experience. Willing to undertake domestic or international business trips and offshore assignments as required by project needs.
6. Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing to meet job requirements. Domestic candidates should have a CET-6 certificate or TOEIC score of 700 or above. Native English speakers are preferred for international candidates.
