Responsibilities
Participate in project execution strategy and planning.
Know the project and discipline scope, cost, and time requirements, ensuring the team meets expectations and liaising with other disciplines to ensure project success.
Encourage innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.
Support management of project change and progression for the discipline, working with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability.
Review data from multiple sources and prepare engineering studies, analyses, calculations, and recommend actions.
Craft recommendations and review final documentation prior to customer approval.
Determine technical issues, define alternate solutions, establish pros/cons for multiple solutions, and make recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.
Understand and communicate Worley’s vision and strategy, translating the strategy into practical goals and objectives for people in his/her team.
Be responsible for personal safety and safe working practices, understanding and following OH&S procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in leading a team of Instrumentation & Control discipline engineers and designers.
Extensive technical, practical, and leadership experience in the Instrumentation & Control discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
