We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Primary Drama Teacher to join our vibrant IB school community in Dubai. The successful candidate will teach Years 2 6, delivering engaging and inspiring drama lessons that nurture creativity, confidence, and a love for drama.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate Drama lessons for students in Years 2 6, aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Create a dynamic and inclusivelearning environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
• Organise and support school performances, assemblies, and drama events.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to develop students dramatical knowledge and skills.
• Assess and report on student progress, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular links and the wider creative arts programme.
Requirements
:
• A bachelor s degree in Drama or Drama Education, and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching Drama in a Primary School setting (Years 2
6).
• Experience working in an IB PYP environment is preferred, but not essential.
• Passionate about drama education and committed to fostering a lifelong love of drama in students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE or willing to relocate on a local hire contract (no accommodation).
