About the Role
This role supports the development and execution of pricing strategies across the Middle East and Africa region by providing accurate pricing data, market analysis, and reporting. The role is responsible for maintaining pricing databases, monitoring competitor and market movements, and preparing analytical insights that enable the Pricing Manager and sales subsidiaries to make informed, profitable pricing decisions in line with Hankook global pricing policies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Pricing Data Management & Administration
• Maintain and update the MEA master price list, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution to all markets
• Process price change requests, discount approvals, and special pricing cases in line with defined pricing rules and approval thresholds
• Maintain pricing records, documentation, and audit trails to support pricing governance and transparency
• Support the implementation of pricing structures in relevant systems (ERP/SAP) and verify system pricing accuracy
Market & Competitor Analysis
• Conduct regular market price surveys and competitor benchmarking across MEA markets
• Collect and consolidate pricing intelligence from sales subsidiaries, distributors, and external sources.
• Track currency movements, cost changes, and market dynamics affecting price positioning
• Prepare competitor price comparison reports and highlight risks or opportunities to the Pricing Manager
Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare regular pricing reports covering price realization, margin performance, and volume trends by product, market, and customer segment
• Analyze the impact of price changes, promotions, and discounts on sales performance and profitability
• Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and analytical tools to support decision-making
• Support ad-hoc pricing simulations, scenario analysis, and business cases as required. Sales &
Sales & Stakeholder Support
• Respond to pricing queries from MEA sales subsidiaries in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare data-driven pricing justifications to support key customer negotiations
• Coordinate with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on pricing execution. • Support the roll-out and communication of pricing policies, guidelines, and updates across the region.
We're looking for someone with:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling); experience with Power BI, SAP, or similar systems is preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in pricing, commercial analysis, sales analysis, or financial analysis; experience in the tire or automotive industry is an advantage
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• Good communication skills with the ability to present data and insights clearly to commercial teams
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage given regional market coverage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, multicultural regional environment.
