Position: PR Coordinator (Filipino or Kenyan nationality preferrable)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

PR Coordinator

Monitor corporate communications projects’ progress and create project status reports for assigned projects.

Assist with resource scheduling to ensure team members have the necessary resources.

Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage project management documents such as project plans, budgets, schedules, or scope statements, as directed by the project manager.

Perform administrative tasks related to project management, including billing and bookkeeping.

Support team members in implementing risk management strategies.

Perform administrative tasks assigned by the VP – Corporate Communications and support the team.

Organize and coordinate calendars, meetings, internal and external events, conferences, filter emails, and handle phone calls.

Maintain records for multiple entities, including personal and business duties.

Prepare presentations, manage office projects, conduct research, prepare correspondence, and handle administrative activities.

Support strategic planning activities and manage financial matters confidentially.

Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring regular updates and follow-ups.

Assist in monitoring budget expenditures, invoicing, and payments for the Corporate Communication Department using Oracle.

Manage office stationery inventory, place orders, arrange deliveries, dispense supplies, and handle receipts and petty cash.

Attend meetings and prepare minutes or reports.

Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, customers, and external parties to promote excellent customer service.

Ensure timely submission of work as per instructions from higher management.

Arrange venues and schedules for meetings involving all contributing individuals.

Establish and update contact lists of clients periodically.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

& Professional Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Experience

3 – 5 years in office administration or an executive secretarial role

Geographic Experience

Preferred

Computer Skills

Experience with local and international office and web applications

Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge

Strong knowledge of administrative procedures

Good understanding of corporate functions and activities

Proficiency in documentation, recording, and administrative tasks

Skills
