Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Consultant to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high voltage (HV) power studies and a strong background in power systems engineering. This role involves providing expert consultancy services, conducting detailed power system studies, and offering technical solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive HV power system studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, transient stability analysis, and protection coordination.
Develop and implement power system models using industry-standard software tools.
Analyze and interpret study results to provide actionable recommendations and solutions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized power system solutions.
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies in power systems engineering.
Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems engineering, with a focus on HV power studies.
Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP, PSS/E, or DIgSILENT Power Factory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
