Job Description
Al Deera Commercial Real Estate Company is looking for an experienced and responsible Pool Supervisor to oversee the daily operations, safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the swimming pool and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate should have strong supervisory skills, knowledge of pool operations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation of the swimming pool and surrounding facilities.
- Ensure the pool area is clean, safe, organized, and ready for use.
- Monitor water quality, including chlorine and pH levels.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for pool equipment, pumps, filtration systems, and repairs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
- Supervise lifeguards, pool attendants, cleaners, and other assigned staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure proper manpower coverage.
- Enforce pool rules and safety procedures professionally.
- Ensure first-aid kits, lifesaving equipment, and emergency equipment are available and in good condition.
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and customer complaints promptly.
- Maintain daily records of pool inspections, water-quality readings, and incidents.
- Monitor stock levels of pool chemicals, cleaning materials, and operational supplies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pool operations, hospitality, recreation, or facilities management.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of swimming pool operations and water treatment.
- Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Lifeguard certification is an advantage.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
