Car Detailer/Polisher job duties and responsibilities
A car detailer/ or auto detailer/polisher should expect to perform many different duties, which can include:
Clean interior or exterior of cars, paying special attention to any instructions from the owner of the vehicle
Use specialized cleaners, waxes or polish for the specific car
Use specialized cleaning tools or materials
Communicate with owner about what the expectations are, come up with timing and budget for the job
Possibly work with other car detailers to get the job done quickly
Ensure the highest standard of work and efficiency in detailing, polishing, ceramic coats
To know the stages with polishing needs according to the condition of the surface
To remove small damages as well as scratches on top of cars to give them a new look
To remove the minor scratches from the vehicle surface
Ensure that work is completed to the highest possible standard, and within agreed timelines to ensure customer satisfaction
Repairs or replaces machine parts to maintain the machine in operational condition.
Reads work order to determine parts to be buffed or polished
