Podcast Video Editor Jobs in Remote at The Brill Collective
We’re a fast growing, remote-first marketing company based in the UAE. We recorded a one-hour podcast episode and need a video editor to turn the raw footage into a polished final video, plus a set of short clips for social media promotions. This is a one-time project, with a potential for ongoing per-episode work if this goes well. Deadline: 6-7 working days from file delivery.
What you’ll deliver
One fully edited long-form video (raw file is 1 hour)
Around 10 short-form clips (30-90 seconds each) pulled from the episode, optimized for social platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Editing requirements
Clean cuts and pacing — remove dead air, filler words, and awkward pauses
Transitions between segments/topics
Color correction and consistent color grading across the episode
Basic motion graphics: lower thirds, name/title cards, intro/outro branding
Captions/subtitles burned in for the short clips (required for social — most viewers watch muted)
Audio cleanup (noise reduction, level balancing)
Export in the correct aspect ratios: 16:9 for the long-form video, 9:16 for social clips
Required skills
Experience editing podcast or interview-style long-form content
Strong sense of pacing and storytelling for pulling clip-worthy moments out of long-form footage
Portfolio/reel required — please include links to podcast or interview edits, not just general video work
