We are seeking an experienced PMV Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, reliability, inspection, and operational performance of tower cranes and lifting equipment across construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure maximum equipment availability, compliance with safety standards, and efficient maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for tower cranes and lifting equipment.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
- Coordinate tower crane erection, dismantling, climbing, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor equipment performance, utilization, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, safety regulations, and statutory inspections.
- Liaise with project teams, third-party inspectors, and equipment suppliers.
- Review maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment certifications.
- Support spare parts planning and maintenance resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in PMV, heavy equipment, or construction equipment maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years of direct tower crane experience.
- Strong knowledge of tower crane maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and operational requirements.
- Experience with tower crane brands such as Potain, Liebherr, Comansa, Zoomlion, Wolffkran, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction contracting companies is required.
- Strong understanding of lifting equipment safety standards and industry best practices.
