Description
Develop and implement the PMO framework, policies, and procedures to standardizeproject managementpractices across the organization.
Define project governance structures, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
Oversee the organization’s project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and prioritization of initiatives.
Monitor project progress, performance, andresource allocationto achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborate withsenior leadershipto align project goals with organizational strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues.
Identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Facilitate regular risk assessments and status updates to ensure proactive management.
Lead and mentor project managers and project teams, fostering a culture ofcollaborationandcontinuous improvement.
Provide training and support to enhanceproject managementcapabilities within the organization.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of project performance, making recommendations for improvements.
Prepare and present project updates, reports, and dashboards to executiveleadershipand stakeholders.
Ensuretransparent communicationregarding project goals, progress, and challenges.
Profile
A successful PMO Director should have:
8+ years of experience in PMO
A degree in Business Administration,Project Managementor a related field
Proven experience in a senior PMO role within the healthcare sector
Strongleadershipskills and the ability to motivate a team
Excellentstrategic planningand execution skills
Outstandingcommunicationand interpersonal skills
Proficiency inproject managementsoftware
