The PMO Director for Digital Transformation is responsible for leading the Project Management Office, ensuring the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital technologies, project management methodologies, and a proven ability to drive organizational change.
Develop and implement the PMO strategy to align with the organization’s digital transformation goals
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions that enhance business operations
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements
Established and maintained project management methodologies, standards, and best practices tailored for digital initiatives
Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment on project objectives and outcomes
Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization regarding project status and changes
Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasting to optimize ROI on digital initiatives
Monitor and report on project performance using KPIs and metrics specific to digital transformation
Strong understanding of digital technologies and trends (e.g., Cloud Computing, IoT, AI, Data Analytics)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders effectively
Proficiency in project management tools and frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, P3O, Agile certifications) is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within digital transformation projects
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale digital initiatives across various industries
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High level of adaptability and resilience in the face of change
Native Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency
