Position Summary We  are seeking a skilledand detailoriented PMC Telecom Engineer to support the design installationand management of telecommunications systems for a major Oil& Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The Telecom Engineer will ensure that all telecom systems meet projectspecifications international standards and operational requirementswhile collaborating with
multidisciplinary
teams to deliverseamless integration and optimalperformance.
Key Responsibilities
Designreview  and manage telecommunications systems including data voiceand video
communication
networks to meet project requirements andstandards.
Prepare and review technicalspecifications
system architecture
and design documents for telecomsystems.
Ensure integration of telecom systemswith other project components including SCADA and instrumentationsystems.
Support the procurement and selectionof telecom equipment ensuring compliance with technicalrequirements and project standards.
Monitorcontractor and subcontractor activities related to telecom systeminstallation and commissioning ensuring quality and adherence totimelines.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests(FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and commissioning of telecomsystems.
Address technical queries (TQ) andimplement approved changes to telecom designs andsystems.
Prepare technical reports progressupdates and documentation for projectstakeholders.
Ensure compliance with HSEstandards in all telecom engineeringactivities.
Stay updated on advancements intelecom technologies and apply industry best practices to projectactivities.
Additional Information :
Education:
Bachelorsdegree in Telecommunications Electronics or Electrical Engineeringor a relatedfield.
Experience:
710years of experience in telecom engineering with a focus on Oil& Gas or pipeline constructionprojects.
Experience in a PMC environment ispreferred.
Skills:
Proficiencyin telecom system design and analysistools.
Strong knowledge of internationaltelecom standards and codes (e.g. IEC ITUTIA).Familiarity with SCADA systems fiberoptics and wireless communicationtechnologies.
Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills.
