Position Summary  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMC Piping Lead Engineer  to manage and oversee piping engineering activities for a prestigious Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The Piping Lead Engineer will ensure that piping designs, materials, and installations meet project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations. This role requires

leadership

, technical expertise, and extensive experience in piping engineering for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead all piping engineering activities ensuring compliance with project requirements, international standards, and industry best practices. Develop, review, and approve piping layouts, isometric drawings, material specifications, and stress analysis reports. Oversee the selection and procurement of piping materials ensuring suitability and compliance with project requirements. Provide technical solutions to address piping design and installation challenges. Coordinate with

multidisciplinary

teams to integrate piping designs into the overall project.

Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to piping standards and timelines. Conduct piping stress analysis and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.3, B31.4). Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure piping installations align with approved designs and specifications. Support the resolution of technical queries (TQ) and manage changes to piping designs as required. Ensure compliance with HSE standards in all piping engineering activities.

.  Qualifications :

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

12-15 years of experience in piping engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas or large-scale pipeline construction projects. Proven experience in a PMC environment is highly desirable.

Skills:

Proficiency in piping design and analysis software (e.g. AutoPIPE, CAESAR II, AutoCAD Plant 3D). Strong knowledge of international codes and standards related to piping design and construction (e.g. ASME, API, ISO). Excellent

and decision-making skills. Strong

leadership

and

communication skills

for effective team coordination and stakeholder engagement. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a

fast-paced

project environment.
