Plumbing Engineer Jobs in Basra, Iraq at Prime Support General Services
• Applying and following the client contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’ QHSE policy and procedures.
• Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Documentation System and standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, & ISO 45001.
• Maintaining, repairing and installing plumbing and related fixtures and components, as well as appliances and trims.
• Repairing piping of various sizes and types.
• Checking safety equipment and replacing components such as washers, gaskets and filters.
• Inspecting, repairing or replacing pumps, valves and boiler systems.
• Monitoring work done by outside contractors for adherence to Plumbing Code Requirements and reporting back to direct manager.
• Installing supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures and equipment.
• Assembling and installing valves and fittings.
• Installing, repairing and maintaining water treatment equipment, piping and controls.
• Testing pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Ensuring all installations, repairing and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.
• Maintaining good relationship with the client to accomplish ongoing tasks in a timely manner.
• Ensuring all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.
• Maintaining appropriate service and repair records.
• Performing preventive/corrective maintenance and call-off activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis and ensuring that the company avoids any liquidated damages.
• Controlling the inventory for related equipment parts and supplies.
• Preparing Permit to Work and daily/weekly/monthly reports and sharing them with the management.
• Preparing estimation for call-off works and sharing it with the management.
• Coordinating with the client on regular basis for related works and assisting in completing the third-party request.
• Performing other duties as directed.
