Roles & Responsibilities
The Draftsman – Plumbing produces plumbing, drainage, and sanitary shop drawings for villa and building construction projects, ensuring accurate representation of systems in compliance with UAE authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare plumbing and drainage shop drawings including hot/cold water systems, soil/waste stacks, rainwater drainage, and irrigation.
- Draw riser diagrams, floor plan layouts, and isometric views for all plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with other MEP disciplines to produce clash-free combined services drawings.
- Update drawings based on site variations, RFIs, and approved submittals.
- Produce as-built plumbing drawings for handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Plumbing Code, DM, and SEWA requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Plumbing Engineering or Drafting.
- 5–8 years of plumbing/drainage drafting experience with a UAE MEP contractor.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); experience with Revit MEP is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of plumbing systems and UAE authority requirements
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
