Job Title: Production Manager/Supervisor – Printing Press (Rigid Boxes, Luxury Boxes & Soft Boxes)
Location: Sharjah & Ajman, Al Yaqeen Group LLC

Job Overview:
The Production Manager/Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process at Al Yaqeen Group LLC’s new warehouse facilities in Sharjah and Ajman. This includes managing the manufacturing of rigid boxes, luxury boxes, and soft boxes for high-end perfume brands. The position will require expertise in the printing process, job planning, and quality control, ensuring that the products meet the required standards for quality and luxury packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling:
Develop production schedules to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of orders.
Coordinate with the sales and procurement teams to allocate resources based on demand.
Organize work assignments and machine allocation to meet production goals.
Ensure that production processes are streamlined and efficient to minimize downtime.
Oversee Printing Process:
Monitor all stages of the printing process, ensuring that designs are transferred accurately onto packaging materials.
Manage the 5-step printing process, ensuring that each step is completed correctly:
Prepress: Review designs, ensure color profiles, and prepare the artwork.
Printing: Oversee the actual printing process to ensure high-quality output.
Finishing: Ensure all finishing processes (like lamination, embossing, foil stamping) are done to specification.
Post-Press: Ensure the boxes are cut, folded, and glued to perfection.
Packaging: Oversee the packaging of the finished product for shipment or storage.
Quality Assurance & Inspection:
Implement a strict quality control process to inspect and test all printed boxes.
Conduct routine checks on raw materials, printing quality, and finished goods to ensure compliance with the company’s high-quality standards.
Use standard testing methods for quality assurance (e.g., color matching, material durability).
Provide guidance and feedback to the team on quality improvements and product enhancements.
Team Leadership & Training:
Lead and supervise a team of printing press operators, technicians, and packers.
Conduct training and skills development programs to ensure high productivity and efficiency.
Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes safety, collaboration, and continual improvement.
Inventory & Maintenance Management:
Maintain an inventory of printing materials and monitor stock levels.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of raw materials.
Ensure proper maintenance of printing machines and related equipment to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
Develop and enforce safe practices for handling machinery and raw materials.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure that the production environment complies with health and safety regulations.
Implement safety protocols for handling chemicals, machinery, and other potentially hazardous materials.
Conduct regular safety drills and inspections.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Liaise with other departments (e.g., design, procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operation across the production process.
Report production metrics and any challenges to senior management.
Prepare production reports, including job status, output, and any issues that arise during production.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required:
Job Planning Knowledge: Understanding of job planning in the printing industry and the ability to schedule, allocate, and manage tasks effectively.
5-Step Printing Process Expertise: Solid knowledge of the complete printing process, from prepress to packaging, and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Quality Control: Expertise in quality control methods, particularly in the luxury packaging sector for perfumes.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with printing machines, finishing equipment, and box manufacturing techniques.
Material Knowledge: In-depth understanding of materials used in rigid boxes, luxury boxes, and soft boxes.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues in production, from design inconsistencies to equipment malfunctions.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure effective production and employee satisfaction.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients, especially in the context of a luxury brand.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field.
At least 5-7 years of experience in a production environment, particularly within the printing or packaging industry.
Experience in managing a printing press for luxury packaging or rigid box production (preferably in the perfume or cosmetics industry).
Proficiency with relevant software tools for production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
Additional Requirements:
Strong attention to detail, especially when producing luxury packaging.
Ability to handle fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
