We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and manage enterprise‑grade application platforms and cloud‑native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and platform automation to enable secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and manage enterprise‑grade application platforms and cloud‑native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and platform automation to enable secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure and developer platforms
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and enterprise container platforms
- Implement Git Ops practices for automated application deployment and infrastructure management
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Manage virtualization and cloud infrastructure environments
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability while implementing continuous improvements
- Collaborate with Development, Dev Ops, Security, and Operations teams to deliver scalable platform solutions
- Implement platform security, governance, backup, and disaster recovery best practices
- Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment standards
Must-Have Skills
- Experience with Git Lab OR Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and automation
- Experience with Argo CD for Git Ops‑based application deployment
- Experience with Sonar Qube for code quality and static code analysis
- Experience with Renovate Bot or comparable dependency management and automation tools
- Hands‑on experience with Docker OR Docker Compose for containerization
- Experience with Kubernetes OR Open Shift OR Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) OR Google Cloud Run for container orchestration and cloud‑native application deployment
- Experience with Terraform OR Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
- Experience with VMware vCenter OR Open Stack for virtualization and private cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting
- Understanding of cloud‑native architecture, networking, security, and platform engineering best practices
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS OR Microsoft Azure OR Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Helm OR Kustomize
- Knowledge of Prometheus OR Grafana OR ELK Stack for monitoring and observability
- Experience with Hashi Corp Vault or other secrets management solutions
- Familiarity with Python OR Go for platform automation
- Experience implementing Dev Sec Ops practices
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3–12+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Automation
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing and operating enterprise Kubernetes platforms
- Strong understanding of Git Ops, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud‑native engineering principles
- Experience delivering enterprise Dev Ops and platform modernization initiatives
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build secure, scalable, highly available, and automated platform solutions
