Job Title: Process / Field Operator
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Process / Field Operator to handle day-to-day plant operations, including operating reactors, handling materials, and managing field equipment. The role is critical to ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate reactors, pumps, valves, and other process equipment as per instructions
Carry out charging and discharging of raw materials and finished products
Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow
Perform field adjustments to maintain stable plant operations
Open/close valves and line up systems for different process stages
Take samples and coordinate with the laboratory for testing
Identify and report any abnormalities, leaks, or equipment issues
Assist maintenance team during shutdowns and repairs
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the plant area
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times
Requirements:
Experience working in a chemical or industrial plant preferred
Basic understanding of pumps, pipelines, and process flow
Ability to read gauges, meters, and basic process instructions
Physically fit and able to work in plant conditions
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or related field is a plus
Skills:
Hands-on and practical approach
Attention to safety and detail
Ability to work in shifts
Team player with good communication
