MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To supervise project schedule development, maintenance, monitoring and reporting project progress status to ensure projects successful completion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Computer literate especially with Primavera (P6), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power point……, etc.).
- To prepare preliminary tender schedules.
- Responsible for defining the scope interfaces between company and owner through project schedules.
- Responsible for preparation of Master Baseline schedules for the entire project and detailed schedule in terms of (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Startup & Commissioning as well as each subcontract package as applicable). And ability to coordinate with project team / disciplines.
- Responsible for resources allocation, loading and levelling as applicable.
- Coordination with project manager for projects strategic targets.
- To assist project planning team in defining internal project milestones /targets.
- To assist project planning team in defining project subcontracting plan with highlighting subcontractor’s targets and milestones.
- Responsible for identifying project schedule critical path(s)
- Supervise preparation of project progress reports/presentation to assure the transfer of the actual situation with highlighting project risks to different stakeholders.
- Coordinating with different project disciplines to assure the validity of project schedules and awareness of risks.
- Approve, Monitor, analyze and study subcontractors’ baseline and updated schedules and its impact on the project master baseline schedule.
- Responsible to settle subcontractor’s performance indicators and highlight for performance deviations.
- To prepare delay analysis and projects time claims resolution.
- To participate and provide support for project cash flow & invoicing.
- To Build an interactive dashboard provides multiple layers of knowledge about the Project status
- To participate in developing and presenting designated subjects in training classes and on-job training programs.
- To mentor and provide guidance for his subordinate of the Planning team and support technically in all functional aspects
- Pursue any other activities within the job scope assigned by his direct supervisor or organization management

SOCIAL COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain company’s social management system policy via follow and report any deviated cases against PSP IMS policy.
- Take his own responsibility to comply with the social accountability requirements according to the standard SA8000.
- Co-operate with the SP team for any further communication in order to improve and enhance the level of implementation and compliance with the company’s social management system.
REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION
Basic Requirements:
Qualification:
- BSc. Engineering (Construction Management, Civil/Mech./Electrical/Arch)
Related Field Experience:
- Contractor’s background Industrial field (Power Generation, Oil & Gas Substation, Industrial …etc.)
Overall Experience:
- +5 years’ experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with good command of English.
- Computer literate especially with Primavera (P6), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power point, Power BI ……, etc.).
- Proven track records with project managements tools/courses and fair knowledge (Construction Management, PRMG, PMI-SP or PSP and/or PMP).
- Knowledge of database concepts
- Delay Analysis Techniques and Claims knowledge
- Proven track record with recognized international standard companies, particularly in Middle East operations and projects.
